Good Friends
When I am feeling disturbed, my best course of action is to sit in the silence.
In the quiet, when my racing mind is given leave, I always find a return to the balance.
My second favorite thing to do, when feeling out of sorts, is to be with a good friend.
I particularly enjoy being with someone who has no need of “fixing me”. This kind and loving person just allows me to think out-loud. They do not feel compelled to answer my inner questions, nor do they insist on sharing “their truth” with me.
We can be together, yet they are able to let me “be” with my own process.
This is the highest form of unconditional love.
I am thankful that I have friends who love me in this way.
