Spiritual Cinema Night 1
Last night, at Sanctuary of Hope, we had our inaugural Spiritual Cinema Night.
At first, I was feeling kind of disappointed, since several of the people who said they would be there did not show up. Quickly, however, I settled into the knowing that the event was attended by the perfect participants.
The 7 of us watched 5 short films, ate popcorn and Russell Stovers, and just had a really nice time, discussing the insights called forward by the films.
It was a thought provoking evening for me, even though I had seen some of the films three times or more.
Everyone shared their awareness’s and emotions as the evening progressed. It was a wonderful event.
Most went forward, vowing to tell their friends about this stimulating way to spend the last Thursday evening of each month.
This is another formal invitation, to everyone on this list, to mark the next Spiritual Cinema Night on your calendar for October 27th.
As I wrote before, I think that each of us have so much to teach each other. Discussion, in small groups is one way those lessons are conveyed.
Thank you to all who came and opened their hearts yesterday evening. I certainly received a wonderful blessing, and trust that all who attended were touched in a
similar way.
