Judge Not

I will write of many peace stealers in the days to come.

We enable most peace stealers by behavior and choices we make. In many, indeed probably most, of these occurrences we are not even aware we are participating.

One such peace stealer is judgment. Through judging we, voluntarily, give up our right to peace.

There is a cross stitched sign in my in-laws home which says this:

There is so much bad in the best of us,
And so much good in the worst of us,
That it hardly behooves any of us
To speak ill of the rest of us.

This cute little poem contains much wisdom. While it is addressing speaking ill of another, the same rule applies to judging.

The truth is, we do not have a great enough perspective, in most cases, to know the Truth about any situation.

I promise you, that if you are seeing anything other than the Christ Spirit in another, you are not seeing the Truth.
