Friday Musing

Today I find myself nearly speechless. At least that is the feeling when I sit down to write my reflection.

Typically, I have my reflection written a day in advance, so all I have to do is click send on the mailer program and it is on its way. Such is not the case today. When I tried to write yesterday, there was nothing trying to get out. It is the same way this morning.

Today the writer’s well seems dry. So, I am just going to talk a little about my web site.

Time allowing, I am going to entirely change the look of the site over this weekend. I do not like the way the current site looks. I threw it together to meet my goal of September 6th to have a place for people to sign up for newsletters. I made that goal, but now I need to go back and rework everything.

Got suggestions?? Feel free to send me your ideas. Since I do not know a whole lot about what I am doing, I may not be able to implement the ideas, but I would love to hear them anyway.

Yesterday, I put an announcements section on the page. Please pay attention to this spot. For example I announced yesterday that starting this next Thursday (Sept 29th) I am going to host a Spiritual Cinema Night at Sanctuary of Hope. There is a map and directions on the site. This is going to be a fun night and I would love for some of you locals to participate.

Also, I wrote of a book sale my daughter and some of her friends are putting together. There is a plea for books there. If any of you have some books you have been meaning to get rid of which you would like to donate, give me a call and I will pick them up.

I guess that is it for today. I am going to add a couple of polls a little later, to get your opinions on some aspects of my newsletters. Please check this out and respond if you can.
