On Goals

I think setting goals and heading towards their accomplishment are great tools to utilize. Goals give a sense of direction to our lives.

I love this quote by Louisa May Allcott:

“Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see the beauty, believe in them and try to follow where they lead.”

Having high aspirations are beneficial, in my opinion. They help us in making our day to day choices.

Attachment to obtaining our goals has to opposite effect. Any attachment, to a certain outcome, promises to be a peace stealer.

Suffering is born of unfulfilled desires.

Set your goals; move confidently in their direction; and then turn the rest over to spirit. Releasing attachment to the outcome opens yourself to greater possibilities than you are currently capable of comprehending.

Do not limit yourself by demanding certain results.
